The buildings have no more time to adapt.Weather changes are faster and more extreme than in earlier times.
Large temperature differences (spatial and temporal) are more frequent.
Whenever heat and coolness meet, there is condensation of humidity. Even a few degrees Celsius are enough.
This condensation initially disappears into the building fabric and inventory.
It becomes visible later as moisture damage and mould.

The consequences:
- Greying interior walls because dust from the air is bound to the damp walls
- Same deposits, variously visible, on the interior furnishings
